The house sleeps up to 7 people, in three upstairs double bedrooms. There is a large double room and a small double room with a smaller 4ft double bed rather than the standard 4ft 6in. The third double bedroom also has a gorgeous single day bed along with the double bed. Superb quality bedding on all the beds is included in the price.
Downstairs the comfortable sitting room has 3 sofas and there is a dining room with a large extendable draw-leaf table that easily seats 7 people. The dining room also has comfortable armchairs next to the open fire.
The well equipped kitchen has a gas oven and separate 5 ring gas hob. There is a large fridge freezer to keep all your food and drink fresh and cool.
The bathroom is also downstairs with a toilet, bath with a shower over and washbasin. Gorgeous towels are included in the price.
To the front of the house is a porch with ample hanging space for coats and room for boots or wellies.
To the side of the house is a large utility shed with a washing machine which guests are free to use.
Directly in front of the house is a very large lawned area ideal for children to play on.
The house is surrounded by 18,000 acres of Knoydart for you to explore - as Scotland has a 'right to roam' policy which means you can wander wherever your fancy takes you!
Outside Space
There are sandy beaches with an abundance of shells right in front of the house. To the side of the house is an area which is ideal for alfresco dining and enjoying the unbelievable views. Behind the house is a hill safe enough for children to scramble up and close by there’s a small burn and stone ruins. Further on there's a larger burn with a swimming area although it may be a touch cold! Just across a peaty meadow are rocky coves, numerous rock pools and small islands. Around the far side of the bay is a sandy beach and a wonderful pier. There are two kayaks and a rowing boat, which can be borrowed if you arrange your own insurance.
